How to Change the Bracelet on Your Wryst Watch
Swapping the bracelet on your Wryst watch is a simple but precise task. Whether you're switching to a new strap for style or comfort, this guide will walk you through the process step by step.
What You’ll Need
Two screwdrivers, size 1.5 mm
A clean, flat surface to work on (preferably light-colored)
Patience and attention to detail
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prepare Your Tools and Workspace
Place your watch face-up on a clean table. Make sure the surface is tidy and well-lit. You will be handling small parts that are easy to lose.
2. Unscrew the Bracelet Bar
Insert one screwdriver into each side of the bracelet screw.
Hold both sides firmly and begin turning anti-clockwise.
One side will slowly loosen and come out—this is the short screw.
Tip: Be ready to catch the short screw as it comes out. It’s tiny and easy to misplace.
3. Remove the Bar and Decorative Rings
Once the short screw is out, gently push down the bar from the same side.
As the bar slides out, two small decorative rings will fall—one from each side.
You should now have:
1 short screw
1 long screw (the bar)
2 decorative rings
Installing the New Strap
4. Reassemble in Reverse Order
Place the decorative rings back into position on each side of the new strap.
Slide the long screw bar through the strap and rings.
Ensure to push the strap firmly against the watch case between the lugs while inserting the long screw.
Secure the attachment by carefully screwing in the short screw from the opposite side.
Make sure everything is aligned and tightened securely, but don’t over-tighten.
Final Check
Once installed, gently tug the strap to ensure it’s firmly attached. Your Wryst watch is now ready to wear with its new look.
Finally a clear and detailed instruction to replace my Wryst watch bracelets. I didn’t realize how the band was actually attached to the case. Thanks for that as I find it really helpful.
